This project showcases a serinette, a miniature mechanical organ from 1720, designed to teach melodies to singing birds. Currently exhibited at the MuMaps, it plays the iconic French tune "Pierrot, au clair de la lune," transporting listeners back to an era where music and nature harmonized beautifully. The video highlights the instrument’s intricate craftsmanship and serves a dual purpose: to share its historical charm with a modern audience and to act as an archival reference for future restoration efforts. To preserve authenticity, no excessive alterations were made to the sound or color grading, ensuring an accurate representation of this remarkable piece of musical history.
